Gel Coat Spray Gun G100-6

Gel Coat Spray Gun G100-6 is a professional grade sprayer designed for easy operation and is a must for every fibreglass shop-floor. Practical design of the gun helps spray faster than conventional HVLP guns.Cleaning is extremely easy and takes just a few minutes. Standard paper cups can also be used for different colour gelcoats instead of our exclusive graduated poly-pro cup.The key is our unique vacuum generation nozzles that allow for lateral and downward spraying.

G100-6 gun comes complete with a gelcoat nozzle (FN6 – size 4.7 mm), nozzle cleaning brush, cast aluminum lid, plastic cup liner, plastic and paper cup. Brass nozzles are CNC machined to perfection and are available in nine different sizes.

Barcol Impressor

Barcol Impressor is a portable, handheld, indentation hardness tester for rigid plastics like FRP and soft metals like aluminum, copper and other alloys.

Simplicity of the instrument makes it popular and can be operated with no prior experience. It can be used in any position and in any space that will allow clear reach for operator’s hand. Hardness reading is instantly indicated on the dial, which is divided into one hundred graduations. No waiting, pre-loading or separate measurements.

Simply exert pressure against the instrument to drive spring-loaded indenter point into the material. Indenter point must be perpendicular to the surface being tested. On very soft materials, the highest reading should be used since cold flow permits spring loaded indenter point to continue penetration.

Technical Parameters
Indenter
26 degree truncated cone, head face diameter 0.157 mm
Testing Range
0 ~ 100 HBa equivalent to 25 ~ 135 HBW
Resolution
0.5 HBa
Net Weight
0.5 kg

Calibration of Instrument
The zero point of the instrument is stable and seldom changes.

Collocation
  1. Tester
  2. Calibration Test Certificate
  3. Standard Hardness Block (2 pcs)
  4. Spare Indenters (2 pcs)
  5. Calibration wrench
  6. Carrying case

Die Grinder

A die grinder, also known as a rotary tool, is a simple hand held power tool used for grinding, sanding, honing, polishing, or machining material (typically metal, but also plastic or wood).

The tool works by rotating a grinding nose at speeds measured in RPM or rotations per minute. The grinding mechanism makes use of an abrasive or a burr to smooth out or polish rough edges.

The air monitor and bearings uses compressed air to power the tools as the moisture in compressed air will rust the air motor, hence the motor should be lubricated daily but do not lubricate tools with flammable or volatile liquids such as kerosene, diesel or fuel.

The most universal safety precaution in die grinder use is to protect one's eyes by wearing safety glasses. Other common personal protective equipment to be used  in die grinder includes  safety gloves, face shield, ear plugs / head phones and simple paper masks.

When not in use tools should be cleaned fully assembled and then stored in a dry location to reduce rust.

Wet Thickness Gauge

These Gauges are designed to quickly and easily measure the thickness of coatings immediately after they have been applied to a substrate.

Wet Film Thickness  gauges are also commonly known as: Combs, MIL Gauges, Step Gauges and Notched Gauges.

It measures the thickness of almost all types of organic coatings such as:
  • Varnishes
  • Lacquers
  • Paints
  • Resins
  • Gel coats
  • Enamels
It can also be used to measure powder coating thickness before it goes through curing. Wet film thickness is measured to determine the correct dry coating thickness.

A wet film thickness gauge is especially valuable for evaluating the coating when working with a new finishing system or for calibrating new spray equipment.

The drawing indicates that tooth marked 3 mils is covered with the wet paint and tooth marked 4 mils is not covered. This indicates that the true wet film thickness of the material is between 3 and 4 mils thick.

It comes under three variations:
  1. Single use Wet Fim Gauge
  2. Multi use Wet Film Gauge
  3. Wet Laminate Gauge

Single Use Wet Film Gauge:

It is made up of plastic and measures up to Mils 2-36 / Micron 50-900
Triangular shape allows more measurements per edge
Holes allows label attachment

Multi Use Wet Film Gauge:

It is made up of Aluminium and is a Dual scale gauge, measuring up to 80 Mils on side #1 and from 25 to 2032 Microns on side #2
It is Pocket sized at 2¼” – 3¼” and is easily portable
Teeth or notches are machined into the sides of the gauge

Wet Laminate Gauge:

It is made up of Anodized Aluminium with Steel Lock for repeated usages
Measures up to 1″ of thickness
Its graduated cylinder makes it uncomplicated in taking readings.
